The project aims to strengthen teamwork and promote the dissemination and practical implementation of European values in various spheres of public life in Ukraine.
As part of the project “Development of Team Spirit for the Implementation and Incorporation of EU Values in Ukraine” (TEAM-EU-UA) February 24, 2026, the inclusive program “GAMES AND ACTIVITIES FOR ALL”, designed for inclusiveness and intended for various groups of schoolchildren (including children with special needs and migrants), was officially launched.

The project team of the A.S. Makarenko Sumy State Pedagogical University organized and conducted the event as part of the TEAM-EU-UA project. Professor Oleksandr Tomenko coordinated the implementation of the project and provided overall academic and organizational leadership. Associate Professor Svitlana Hvozdetska participated in the planning and implementation of the program’s activities. Professor Yulia Bondarenko supported the development of the content and delivery of key sessions. Associate Professor Zhanna Chernyakova provided organizational support and coordinated communication with participants and stakeholders.
The program involved schoolchildren aged 9-11 who are students of the project’s partner institution, Sumy Secondary School No. 15.
For safety reasons, given the air raid alert, the event was held in a shelter, which had been prepared in advance thanks to the efforts of the school administration and physical education teacher Viktoria Romanova.

The first lesson on topic 1. “FRIENDSHIP. TEAM SPIRIT. LEADERSHIP“ included active games such as ”BOUNCING BALLOONS,“ ”ABOVE AND BELOW,“ ”THE BOOT,” as well as interactive games, which aroused great interest among the children and helped them to assimilate the relevant European values.
We would like to express our gratitude to the school administration and especially to the principal, Svitlana Goncharenko, for the opportunity to organize the program.
