Kick-off meeting within the framework of the European Union project TEAM-EU-UA took place in Chernivtsi

On November 16, a Kick-off meeting was held in Chernivtsi as part of the European Union project ERASMUS-SPORT-2024-CB “Development of Team Spirit for the Implementation and Incorporation of EU Values in Ukraine / TEAM-EU-UA”.

The project is aimed at promoting social integration through sports, supporting schoolchildren, including displaced children, and implementing the best European practices in this area. Particular attention is paid to children with special educational needs and the promotion of gender equality.

At the opening of the meeting, the project team was greeted by Kateryna Zhdanova, Project Manager, Youth and Sports Opportunities Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, who emphasized the importance of international cooperation for the development of sports and the integration of European values, wishing the project a successful implementation.

Together with our partners, we have launched an important initiative to strengthen team spirit and promote European values in Ukraine. The implementation of the project is extremely relevant, as it is through sports that we can unite communities, strengthen interaction between different groups of people, and develop leadership skills in children and youth.

The project coordinator, Iaroslav Galan, made a presentation presenting the goals, methodology, expected results, implementation schedule, and distribution of tasks among the partners. Participants from partner organizations actively joined the discussion of key issues and made suggestions.

The meeting also outlined the next steps of the project, which promises to be an important milestone in the development of social integration through sport in Ukraine.
